Job Opportunity:
PML Coordinator
Project MN-León seeks to fill its coordinator position which is based in León. Responsibilities include:
- working with the advisory board and representatives in both Minnesota and León
- overseeing the PML office
- evaluating and guiding the local projects and community organizing activities
- coordinating visits of delegations from the U.S.
- facilitating communication and understanding between the two cultures
This is a full-time position requiring a commitment of 2 years with the option of extension. We wish to fill the position as soon as possible for a start date of June 1, 2012.

Project Minnesota León
Cumbre
December 2011
The entire PML Board, both north and south, held its "cumbre" (annual meetings) for 4 days in Minnesota in November, 2011. We have great news to report!
- The election of a new Board president, Orlando Sarria, who has been a long-time member of the board in Nicaragua.
- An executive committee which will now have three Nicaraguans and two Minnesotans.
- A northern and southern chair for all committees.

Join us for a PML Projects Tour Delegation
on June 23-30th 2012
We welcome adults or youth who want to:
· Develop personal connections and practice Spanish while living with a host family
· Learn about the culture and history of Nicaragua
· Visit local schools, health centers, the beach and more
Cost: $850.00 (includes all in country transport, lodging, food and activities) + airfare
